Melbourne to Wollongong + Sydney by bike: 5 days | 1,250km
You may have heard, I’m dusting off the bike bags and heading up to the UCI Road World Championships in Wollongong, Australia.
To celebrate the Road Worlds coming Down Under, I’m riding 1,250km, over 5 days, taking the scenic route from Melbourne to Wollongong.
It’s truly special to have the World’s in my home country and I wanted to take the opportunity to explore parts of the Aus I’ve never been, while also getting behind the sport of cycling in Australia. What better way to do it than on two wheels!
And I’d love you to get involved too!.
Setting off this Saturday 17th Sept, I’ll be stopping along the way from Lancefield to Sydney, so if you’re on route let’s meet for a brew or a few kilometres!
And for those who can’t, I’ll be taking you all along with me as I record the journey for the podcast.
