Talking Luft! with Niamh & Finn Fisher-Black. S2.E14
Niamh and Finn Fisher-Black are siblings from New Zealand, both currently racing in the World Tour.
I had this brother-sister combo on the pod last week over at The Cycling Podcast chatting about making the jump across from NZ to Europe to live the pro life. Which, as I remembered, isn’t all that smooth sailing. It was a great chat to these youngsters who definitely have a big pro career ahead of them! Jump over and listen if you haven’t already.
This week I’ve got them both on for a bit of Talking Luft – and it was a lot of fun.
We chat favourite teams & races, training loops in Nelson, coffee, cheat meals and I learn what the kids these days are calling a Tafi cap.
Plus! Listen out for the announcement about our new merch collab coming very soon!

The theme music for Life in the Peloton was composed by Pete Shelley, who was lead singer of the punk band Buzzcocks. It was commissioned by the production company behind Channel 4’s coverage of the Tour de France in the 1980s and was used as the theme music for the nightly highlights show. Pete died in December 2018. We were given permission by Pete’s widow and his manager to continue using the music for the theme tune to Life in the Peloton. To hear more about the music, listen to the Andre Greipel episode of Life in the Peloton.
