Allan Davis, or Alby as he’s known, is an Australian sprinter who raced in the era of LUFT, riding for the most iconic teams of the time such as Mapei, ONCE-Eroski and Quickstep. And I’m officially jealous of his kit collection.
I sat down with Alby, and we chat about cap style back in those days, when caps were a legitimate option to race in.
We talk his favourite races, the draw of the Tour de France and falling in love with European racing.
Enjoy this one! And make sure you’ve been back to listen to my Tour de France Q&A from last week over on The Cycling Podcast.
Cheers,
Mitch
