After months of lockdown and a suspended season of racing it’s finally time to get back out on the road again! 2020 season: Round 2.
It’s a mixture of excitement and nervousness amongst the pros as we head into racing with a few tweaks and changes to keep everyone safe amidst the pandemic.
Ahead of our return to racing I thought it would be great to sit down with Life in the Pelo favourite, Luke Durbridge, to chat about what we think this new season will look like, and also look back at how we spent the last couple of months preparing for the return.
We review the Italian One-Day race Strade Bianchi, our first race back (and my first time riding it) and then jump into the questions you guys sent in.
I enjoyed getting the insight from Luke about the white roads of Italy and hearing that it has a similar feel to the Belgian cobbled classics has me eager to get out there this weekend.
It was so great to be back in front of the mic, recording face to face and sharing a cold beer. And as you’ll hear, we had a lot of fun!
I hope you enjoy this one and get ready for some great races to come!
Cheers,
Mitch
